Ciel van den Heuvel-Koninkx

From 1995 till 2002  I have attended the partime art education at the Academy of Arts, Belgium.

I do not directly paint what I see, but what remains in my memory. Colour is most importent for me. It creates the form and at the same time the composition, and it decides the sphere.

Moreover I find it important that my paintings are nice to look at, and that they invite the viewer to start a search in his own world of experience. That is why I don not give titles to my pictures.
